Technical Solutions Inc. is currently seeking a CAD Designer for our client, a Pittsburgh based design and construction company. The Architectural Drafter must be creative, detail oriented and possess strong REVIT and AutoCAD 2021 experience. They will be an integral member of our client's design team creating working drawings.
Responsibilities:
- Generate schematic drawings utilizing Revit
- Prepare architectural construction documents and specifications
- Produce error-free documents
- Able to work both independently and within a multi-disciplinary team
- Correct drawings using mark-ups from team Architects
- Manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Work within defined and fast paced schedule
- Detail-oriented with an attention to quality and design
- Understand the building process for drawings being prepared
- Prepare and mount drawings for presentations
- Coordinate working drawing specifications
- Coordinate with multiple disciplines to integrate engineering elements into unified designs
- Prepare graphic presentations using Adobe Photos Shop, Google Sketch-up and Adobe Illustrator
- Ensure compliance with the company's quality assurance policies and project delivery procedures
- Work with team to complete construction permit drawings
- Follow company policies and design standards
- Stay abreast with latest developments in technologies and techniques
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Associates degree and 10 years' experience in Architectural Building drafting required
- High proficiency in Revit and SketchUp is required
- Knowledge of financial institution design and construction is preferred
- Current knowledge of industry trends and technology
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) proficient
