Technical Solutions Inc. is currently seeking a Service Technician on behalf of our client, a Pittsburgh area manufacturer.  
General Description:
*Must be able to read and understand schematics.
*Proficient at hand soldering and use of bench hand tools.
*Skilled to identify and repair faulting circuits to component level.
*Must be able to test and calibrate electronic circuits.
*Has the authority to add any Certification Mark/Label to conforming agency approved products.
*Has the authority to remove any Certification Mark/Label from non-conforming agency approved products.
*Document and report items of repairs/failures in database.
*Willing to travel to customer sites for field support and commissioning.
*Perform other related work as assigned by Manager.

Job Requirements


Experience Requirements: 
*Two (2) to three (3) years" experience in all areas described above.
*Radio frequency (RF) experience desirable.
Knowledge & Skills Requirements:
*Good inter-personal skills.
*Able to resolve conflicts.
*Provide telephone technical support to aid customers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to install, modify, or maintain equipment in field.
*Customer site visits as necessary, providing technical support for maintaining radio remote control equipment and peripherals.
*Maintain a current and valid driver's license.
Education Requirements:
*Two-year Degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent experience.
