Technical Solutions Inc. is currently seeking an Application Engineer on behalf of our client, a manufacturer of material handling systems based in Ohio.
Responsibilities:
*Define and implement solutions for automation project system requirements
*Develop and test control software for PC, Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC based systems
*Work in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor to assure complete customer satisfaction
*Generate project reports and data analyses and communicate results internally and externally
*Provide customer support for installing and commissioning automated cranes
*Manage project costs and budgets
*Estimate and write proposals for material handling systems
*Must be willing to travel up to 35% as needed
*Must be able to work at heights
Job Requirements
Education and Experience:
*Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (BSEE, BSME, or equivalent)
*Three (3) - five (5) years" experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing setting
*Strong leadership and communication skills with a high attention to detail
*Proficient in AutoCAD
*Proficient with Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
