Technical Solutions Inc. is currently seeking an Electrician (Level A) on behalf of our client, a manufacturer with facilities in the Pittsburgh area.
Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints, wiring diagrams or technical diagrams before doing work
- Install and maintain wiring and lighting systems in businesses and factories
- Install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment
- Maintain and repair, equipment, and control systems in businesses and factories
- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, and switch gears
- Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices
- Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Complete work orders and record material utilized on jobs
- Run computer cables, connect computer jacks and plugs and test for adequate operation
- Survey electrical systems, circuits and plans
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Five (5) + years' experience in the electrical trade preferred
- Able to work well on a team
- Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Demonstrable knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance and repair of electrical system and equipment
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
