Technical Solutions Inc. is currently seeking a Proposal Estimator on behalf of our client, an Ohio based manufacturer. The Proposal Estimator will produce detailed technical specifications and estimates from RFQs by calculating estimates using knowledge of machine design.
Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed technical specifications and estimates from customer requests for quotes
- Perform basic design calculations
- Maintain proprietary estimating workbooks using Excel formulas and tables
- Assign ERP cost codes for labor and materials
Job Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Minimum ten (10) years' experience in industrial estimating
- Experience in machine design with an understanding of weldment and machining operations
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Autodesk
