Technical Solutions Inc. is currently seeking a Landscape Architect/Land Planner on behalf of our client, a Pittsburgh based Civil Engineering consultant.
Landscape Architect:
- Work on design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans.
- May also conduct code research, write specifications, and coordinate permitting.
- Site/civil development including grading design.
- Prepare Landscape and Hardscape Plans from concept development through construction documents.
Land Planner:
- Review potential sites and draft concept plans
- Review and develop plans that meet codes and regulations
- Interpret Surveys (topo, wetland)
- Meet and coordinate with government staff
- Develop preliminary plans
- Submit plans for approvals at Planning Commissions and City Council, utilities and other authorities.
- Attending public meetings
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture or Land Planning.
- 3-5 Years Plus of Experience
- RLA preferred.
- Strong freehand illustration and rendering skills.
- Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Sketchup, Illustrator, GIS/ArcView, AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft office is required.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office is required.
- Experience in land development entitlement and/or land use entitlement process
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work remotely and in office setting.
