Technical Solutions Inc. is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer for our client, a leading partner in the world of metals. The Electrical Engineer will research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, and systems by performing the following duties.
Duties:
- Work specifically to document mechanical and electrical design and reverse engineer Electronic Discharge Texturing machine.
- Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
- Designs and directs engineering personnel in fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment, and determines methods, procedures, and conditions for testing products.
- Develops applications of controls, instruments, and systems for new commercial, domestic, and industrial uses.
- Directs activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements.
- Directs and coordinates operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems in field installations.
- Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Hydraulic or Mechanical) or other related Engineering degree is required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and schematics.
- Experience with fluid power systems, sizing and selection of components such as cylinders, accumulators, pumps, motors and valves.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Efficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective and efficient time management and problem-solving skills.
